GEDC ANNUAL LEGISLATIVE BREAKFAST DRAWS RECORD-BREAKING ATTENDANCE
Morris, IL — May 11, 2026 — The Grundy Economic Development Council (GEDC) hosted its annual Legislative Breakfast at the Morris Country Club, bringing together a record-breaking crowd of more than 250 business leaders, elected officials, and community members for a morning of discussion, collaboration, and regional updates.
This year’s event featured remarks from state and federal legislators representing the region, who shared updates on key policy priorities and engaged in open dialogue with attendees on issues impacting economic development, infrastructure, workforce needs, and community growth.
