Oct 13 Cross Country:

All the boys made great gains this season- each one having his best time this past week.  Dominic and Lane took 20 seconds off their time.  Mason and Damien raced within seconds of their PR.  Will had a tough run but he pushed through and finished to help his team.  Our team placed 6th out of 16 huge teams. And Mr. Dean Carey not only broke the school record again with his personal best of 12.26, but he made 4th of the individuals to qualify for state. Wish him luck Friday as he runs in Normal Saturday for the state race.

The boys have lots of meets this week.

Mason Bunting got his PR Tuesday at South Wilmington’s meet. Bran ran his first meet ever.  Jace, Brayden, and Dom all had solid times.  Will earned Redbird of the Meet for pushing through and finishing his first full 2 miles under his goal time.  PERSERVERENCE!

The baseball boys got to join us at the meet Wednesday for Bishop Mac with almost 100 runners.  We ended up placing 3rd out of the 9 teams!  Pretty remarkable for our tiny team.  Mason, Dean, Lance, Jaxon, Brayden, and Jace all stayed consistent and contributed great times for our team score.  Dean placed 8th and Damien Coelman had yet another PR.  Dominic Fleming also had a PR by over 30 seconds! Jace Lee had a strong finish and gets Redbird of the Meet for his determination when the race got tough!  Running is hard folks! Proud of you all!
