Michael Corrigan, 62, of Dwight, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 with his sister, Mary Beth, bedside. A private memorial will be held at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements. Michael was born in Streator, Illinois on August 8, 1959, son of John Joseph and Virginia May (Small) Corrigan. Michael attended St. Paul Grade School in Odell and graduated from Dwight Township High School in Dwight. He attended Parkland Jr. College in Champaign. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia May Corrigan; father, John Joseph Corrigan; and his niece, McKensi May Corrigan. He is survived by his brother, John Joseph Corrigan II (Denice Corrigan) of Washington State; his sisters: Patti Jo Corrigan, Sue Sass (Bill Sass), and Mary Beth Corrigan, of Illinois; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Chris) Brentan, Rebecca, John Joseph III, Hanna, Rosie, Sean, Lyndsey, Alexsia and Siann; and great-nephew, Aidan.
