DWIGHT – Robert “Bob” Chellson, 78, of Cardiff, Illinois passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 while on a family trip to Ogden, Utah. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Bob’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Bob was born November 11, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Carl and Martha (Jasa) Chellson. He married Brenda Rafferty May 11, 1996 at EJ Carz in Verona, Illinois. She survives in Cardiff, Illinois. Also surviving are sons: Robert (Kim) Chellson, Jr. of Bourbonnais; Shane (Shawna) Cuddy of Morris; daughters: Kim (Dan) Spargur of Las Vegas, Nevada; Kiedra (Craig) Meece of Coal City, Illinois; grandchildren: Tim, Tony and Tom Chellson; Layne and Lance Cuddy; Ryan and Danielle Pool, and Colin Meece. One brother, Thomas (Linda) Chellson of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one sister, Jeanette (Darrell) Richardson of Manteno, Illinois also survive, along with his beloved dog, Eve. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Eric Chellson. He was a member of the PUBS motorcycle group, and an avid Peterbilt and Harley enthusiast. Bob loved traveling in his RV and his winters in Florida. His grandchildren will always remember his favorite sayings and one liners.
