DWIGHT – Carl E. Herb, 89, of Dwight, IL and formerly of Cabery, IL, passed away at 3:10 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2020 at Heritage Health in Dwight, IL. Cremation rites were accorded and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorials in Carl’s name may be made to the Parkin-son’s Foundation. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL is handling the arrangements. Carl was born May 29, 1929 in Emington, IL, son of Roy and Mary Ellen (Weirman) Herb. He married Marceline Roggenburg on September 30, 1950 in Cabery, IL. She survives in Dwight, IL. Also surviving are one brother, Bob (Darlene) Herb of Lemont, IL; one brother-in-law, Bob (Shirley) Roggen-burg of Cabery, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Herb. Carl was a car salesman for Detzler Pontiac in Oswego, IL for many years.
