DWIGHT – James F. Tucker, 65, of Dwight passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Northwestern Hospital in Huntley. Born September 27, 1954, he was the son of the late Earl and Jean (Goley) Krug and the late James Tucker. Jim was raised and educated in the Dwight area. He graduated from Dwight High School with the class of 1973. He lived most of his adult life in Chicago, returning to Dwight in 2003. He started working as a chef at the Harvest Table in Dwight, then continuing on to various restaurants in the Chicago area, where he was also bartender. He liked to surround himself with nature, having a love for flowers and different kinds of plants, and also a love for all animals. Jim is survived by his siblings: Juanita (Jack) Noffsinger of Cabery; Kim Krug of Dwight; Carl Krug of Dwight; Kirby (Pat) Krug of Dwight; Ronnie (Dawn) Tucker of Palos Park; Robert (Theresa) Tucker of Palos Park; and Brenda (Kevin) Cook of Pontiac; two brothers-in-law, James Eskins and Bill Belter; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Jackie Eskins and Glenda Belter. A private graveside for Jim will be held at a later date.
