DWIGHT, IL, July 1, 2026 – The Country Mansion will host its inaugural Red, White & Windmill celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, inviting the community to come together for an Independence Day event honoring America’s 250th birthday.
The event begins at 3 p.m. at The Country Mansion in Dwight, Illinois, and will feature live music, food vendors, drinks, contests, giveaways and a great viewing location for the community fireworks at dusk.
Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The Country Mansion created Red, White & Windmill as more than a July 4 event. The celebration reflects the Mansion’s commitment to being a gathering place where people can reconnect, celebrate shared traditions and create new memories together. By opening its grounds for a free community celebration, The Country Mansion hopes to honor the nation’s 250th birthday while bringing families, friends and neighbors together for a day rooted in patriotism, hospitality and community spirit.
The celebration also reflects a simple invitation that has become central to The Country Mansion’s public events: “Meet You at The Mansion.” On July 4, that message takes on special meaning as the Mansion welcomes guests to gather, celebrate the nation and enjoy one of the area’s most memorable settings for Independence Day.
“Red, White & Windmill is our way of celebrating our nation and doing what The Country Mansion was meant to do – bring people together,” said Carson Woods, owner of The Country Mansion. “America’s 250th birthday is a milestone worth honoring, and we wanted to create a free event where families, friends and neighbors can gather, enjoy great music, share food and drinks, and have a beautiful place to watch the fireworks together. That’s really the spirit behind everything we’re building here.
Food vendors will add to the celebration throughout the day. Grillmaster’s Trackside Grill will serve festival favorites including ribeye steak sandwiches, butterfly porkchop sandwiches, bratwurst, jumbo all- beef hot dogs, cheeseburgers, hamburgers and famous corn dogs. Guests can also enjoy sweet treats from Sweets Shop, including funnel cakes, fried Oreos and lemonade shake-ups. Trackside Creamery will offer hand-dipped ice cream with flavors including vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, moose tracks, butter pecan, peach and more.
