Village of Dwight Mayor Paul Johnson reported at the Dwight Village Board Meeting Tuesday night, March 24, that there are no current inquiries from any entities regarding a data center coming to Dwight.

He noted that the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council (GLCEDC) routinely receives requests for information regarding the Megasite east of Dwight, but at this time there are no active inquiries.

The Megasite is a rail-served industrial site, also known as MegaSite 55, consists of approximately 365 acres and is marketed for advanced manufacturing and logistics.

This update comes amid a surge of data center developments across Illinois, though none are currently slated for the village.
