Women in Ag Meeting: Connection to the Land – A Discussion of Leasing and Succession Planning

Come join the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) for a Women in Ag Meeting: Connection to the Land – A Discussion of Leasing and Succession Planning. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Livingston County Farm Bureau, 901 W Howard St, Pontiac, IL 61764. The meeting will start at 9:00 am and run until 1:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

Mary Ludwig, local attorney specializing in agricultural law and estate planning, will be the featured speaker. Mary grew up and farmed her family land in Vermilion County with her brother after her parents passed away and currently farms with her husband here in Livingston County. She regularly shares her knowledge at conferences and meetings, along with working with Annie’s Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing educational programs to women involved in agriculture.
