The Redbird Drama Company took the stage presenting Myth-Guided, under Director Ms. McCullough and the 8th graders, this past weekend at the DTHS Auditorium Friday and Saturday nights. A Cast and Crew of thirty-eight DCS students created two spectacular evenings of entertainment as American Tourists, on a Bernie Flinders Fantastic Tour. They flew from Chicago, IL to Athens, Greece to view the infamous Sculpture Garden featuring the Greek gods and goddesses of old. But, Hermes, Zeus and all the statues seemed oddly strange–they moved and told of the myths behind their names. It was fun follow-the-flag theater for all!
Congratulations to the RDC: You broke-a-leg, well done! A special thank you goes out to Mr. Steve Connor, Mrs. Laura Halstead, Mrs. Danielle Merchen, Ms. Emily Moore, Mrs. Muriel Schaus, Mr. Josh DeLong, Mr. Chad Miller, Mr. Murray, Mrs. Lisa Riber, and Ms. Jennifer Christenson for assisting with the show and to all who came out to see the play.
