The softball team fell to Reed-Custer on Friday 8-0. The girls fought hard with Madi Ely having 8 strikeouts. Raegan Brown and McKenna Woodcock helped the defense with nice plays to get the team out of innings. The softball team will play again tomorrow at Marquette.

Big win for the softball team with a dominant 18-0 win last night. Taylor Heath threw a no-hitter. The team had hot bats, with home runs from Madi Ely and McKenna Woodcock. Softball team is home tonight vs Reed-Custer.

Lady Trojans picked up their second win, and first conference win of the season. 
Madi Ely started at bats with a strike to 13 of 15 hitters. Three Woodland Varsity Warriors hitters reached base after seeing a first-pitch strike.Madi Ely missed bats, inducing 12 swinging strikes on 56 pitches. The top of the first was the best half inning for Dwight Varsity Trojan. They scored 10 runs in the inning. Madi Ely went 4-4, McKenna Woodcock went 1-3, with one double along with two walks, along with Raegen Brown who went 1-2, with one double along with two walks. 

 

The Lady Trojans dominated over Fieldcrest with an 11-1 win in a strong all-around performance. Taylor Heath was unstoppable in the circle, racking up 15 strikeouts while allowing just one hit and one run. At the plate, Sarah Parker came through with a clutch double to move runners, and Madi Ely followed it up with a sacrifice fly to bring runs home. The Lady Trojans also brought the speed, swiping an impressive 14 stolen bases on the night.

Softball: The softball team opened their season against Prairie Central, falling 7–4 in a competitive matchup. Madi Ely led the way in the circle with 11 strikeouts, while Taylor Heath added 5 of her own. The offense showed strength behind key contributions from Sarah Parker, Madi Ely, and Taylor Heath, and aggressive base running from McKenna Woodcock helped generate runs.
