The Dwight Township High School Trojans defeated the Oregon Hawks on Senior Night on Friday, October 24 by a score of 41 – 8.

The varsity football team powered past Oregon Friday night with a commanding victory. Ayden Collom led the ground attack with 104 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Evan Cox added 80 yards and a score. Quarterback Collin Bachand threw for 146 yards and three touchdown passes—two to Joe Duffy and one to Joey Starks. Kicker Erdi Gashi was flawless, going 5-for-5 on field goals. Dwight’s defense was equally dominant, limiting Oregon to just 130 total yards of offense. The defense was led by all D-Lineman, including Jake Wilkey, Ethan Holte, Jackson Launius, Evan Olson and Will Anderson. The Trojans’ complete performance improved their record to 6-3 and will enter the postseason for the 3rd year in a row, which is the first time this has been done in school history. The Trojans received a 12 seed and will travel to take on the #5 seeded Rushville Industry. The game will be played Saturday at 2PM.
