Cassandra Lynn Swatkowski, 29, of Odell, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 8:26 p.m. at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois, while surrounded by her loving family. A memorial visitation was held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Duffy – Baier – Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Cremation rites were ac-corded. Cassandra was born December 24, 1992 in Oak Lawn, Illinois to Steven and Kathleen (McGrath) Swatkowski. They survive in Odell, Illinois. She is survived by her sons, Kayden, Brodie and Kannon; siblings, Jeffrey of New York and Alissa of Chicago, Illinois; her grandmother, Judy Swatkowski; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Cassandra was preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret McGrath; grandfather, Thomas Swatkowski; brother, Alexander Swatkowski; sister-in-law, Lizzie Swatkowski; and cousin, Pamela Moynihan. Cassandra was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School, class of 2011. She had been the Store Manager of several McDonald’s restaurants in the area. She was loved by her employees and many of her customers. Cassandra was an animal lover of all kinds. She was very crafty and enjoyed sewing. She was known to be sassy and loved to laugh, and she greatly loved her children. The family suggests memorials be made to her family for her children.
