Edward “Robert”  Shaw, age 82, of Dwight passed away at Heritage Health in Dwight, Illinois on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Dwight, Illinois. Visitation was one hour prior to the services. Burial: Oaklawn Cemetery, Dwight, Illinois. Memorials in honor of Robert may be made to Midwest Christian Boys Football Camp, 401 N. Clinton St., Dwight, Illinois 60420. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements. Robert was born December 18, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Mange) Shaw. He married Elaine Shaw. She passed away October 26, 2011. Surviving are a brother, Jim (Shirley) Shaw of Bayview, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter, Lorrie Simon. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dwight in Dwight.
