Raymond Paul Norris, age 65, of Dwight, Illinois and formerly of Elwood, Illinois passed away at his home in Dwight on Friday, July 1, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Victory Lanes Bowling Alley in Dwight, hosted by the family, starting at 4 p.m.
Burial will be at a later date in Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
Memorials in honor of Raymond may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond was born August 27, 1956 in Elwood, Illinois, the son of Warren and Winifred (Keopp) Norris. He married Linda Larson in Elwood, Illinois. She passed away February 12, 1997.
Surviving are sons: Christopher Norris of Elwood, Illinois; Matthew Norris of Dwight, Illinois; daughters: Jennifer (Bobby) Tilley of Dwight; Tracy (Larry) Shriver of Parker, Colorado; brother, Warren (Jackie) Norris of LaSalle, Illinois; sister, Ann (Andy) Rotunno of Bluffton, South Carolina; grandchildren: Tori Tilley, Kilie Tilley, and Trent Tilley; nieces and nephews; his best friend Paintball Joe and his favorite dog Chewie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
He was a member of Moran AC of Joliet for more than 40 years. Raymond was the biggest St. Louis Cardinals’ fan and loved to travel down to St. Louis to see them play. He also enjoyed watching Jeopardy.
