DWIGHT – Margaret L. “Peggy” Fogarty, 91, of Dwight, Illinois passed away at 2:09 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at Heritage Healthcare in Dwight, Illinois.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Dwight.

Memorials in honor of Peggy may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dwight, Disabled American Veterans, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Peggy was born January 10, 1931 in Dwight, Illinois, daughter of Louis and Lucille (Chamness) Fogarty.

She is survived by a large family of cousins and friends.

     She is preceded in death by her parents.

    Peggy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She graduated from Dwight Township High School. She worked for the Dwight VA Hospital and Hines VA Hospital in Chicago as a medical secretary for 37 years. In retirement, she spent her time caring for family and friends and helping others.
