DWIGHT – Barbara Wipplinger, 86, of Dwight passed away at 11:09 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac in Pontiac, Illinois.
Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Dwight, Illinois.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the services.
Graveside services followed in Round Grove Cemetery, rural Campus, Illinois.
Hager Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials in Barbara’s name may be left to the American Breast Cancer Society.
Barbara was born February 26, 1936, in Dwight, Illinois, a daughter of Edwin R. and Lela (Eyre) Fieldman. She married Jaspar Barton Harris 1955 and later married James Patrick Wipplinger on September 25, 1967. He passed away January 6, 1975. She then married John Koker in 1979.
She is survived by her children: Debra (William) Cline of Imperial, Missouri; Brenda Harris of Dwight; and Jamie (Steven) Shoop of Pontiac; grandchildren: Bobby (Kha-Han) Sintas, Lana Green, Sonny Sintas, Caitlyn Cline, Carleigh (Michael) Capriglione, Ekaterina (Christopher) Olbrot, Alexander (Britney Kinser) Harris, Jennifer Hobson, Amanda Hobson, Matthew Hobson, Nathan Shoop, and Ian (Taylor) Shoop.
Also surviving are great-grandchildren: Heather, Haleigh, Tucker, Kamren, Avery, Everlyn, Remington, Anastasiya, Lincoln, Jaxon, Elliott and one on the way; great-great-grandchildren, Gemma and Ryker; and sister, Marlene Wilson of Morton; Kitty Daphne.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Wipplinger; and a sister, Linda Dolan.
She attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church and New Life Assembly of God Church. Barbara enjoyed traveling and vacationing in Hawaii, roller skating, horses and hanging out at the pool. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
