Tina Marie Hensley, age 47, of South Wilmington, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois, after years of battling many health issues.
Born July 11, 1974 in Joliet, Illinois, she graduated from Gardner-South Wilmington High School with the class of 1992.
Tina was a dog lover and was known to take in dogs if they needed love, care and shelter. She lived for her two boys and would do anything for them.
She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and her lovingly known, Frys.
Surviving are two children, Dallas Hensley and Trent Burton-Hensley, both of South Wilmington; partner in life, Anthony J. Becker of South Wilmington; father, Daniel L. Burton of Gardner; two sisters, Vicky (Gene) Warriner of Emington, Illinois and Tammy (Dean) Donnelly of Clermont, Florida; nieces and nephews: Steffanie, Cody, Robin, Jason, Kyle, and Jonathan; beloved Nonnie to Addison, Delaney, Raelynn, Kennedy, Oliver, Penny, Mia, Melanie, and Brantley; paternal grandparents, Howard and Helen Burton of Essex, Illinois; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine June (nee McKune) Burton; and maternal grandparents, Floyd and Elaine McKune.
Per Tina’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded and there were no services.
