Jeffrey W. Patten, age 60, of Dwight passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home in Dwight, Illinois. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until the time of services Friday, January 28, 2022 at Hager Memorial Home. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. that same day, also at the memorial home. Burial followed in McDowell Cemetery, rural Dwight. Memorials in honor of Jeffrey may be made to McDowell Cemetery or the charity of the donor’s choice. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight is in charge of arrangements. Jeffrey was born July 20, 1961 in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of James W. and Janice A. (Badders) Patten. His mother passed away April 22, 1994. His father, James, survives with his wife, Joyce E. Patten, in Dwight. Also surviving are brother, James A. “Jay”  Patten of Dwight; sister, Cheryl (Larry) Grosenbach of Granville, Illinois; many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, and grandparents, D.R. and Ella Badders and Irwin and Gladys Patten. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Christ in Dwight.
