Patricia Ann Hatfield, 74, of Dwight was reunited with her late husband, Jack Hatfield, Sr. on January 8, 2022. She was peacefully called to heaven from the ICU unit at Riverside Hospital, suddenly, and unexpectedly to those left behind. Born November 22, 1947 in Christian, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ott and Ruby Toler. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Brenda Sue Toler, Linda Collins Wilcher, Saundra Toler, and Kenneth Toler. Patricia enjoyed watching wrestling, the Marvel Movies, eating Reese’s Cups, playing lottery tickets, and above all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Patricia was a loving, kind, and gentle Mother, Grand-mother, Great-Grandmother, and friend. Everyone who met her always said she is the sweetest person they’ve ever met. Those left to carry on her memories are her four children: Jennifer (Randy) Shep-herd, Jack (Lisa) Hatfield, Joanna Hatfield, and Bret (Schuyler) Hatfield; her grandchildren: Charrissa (John) Hensel, Collin Tindle, Emmy Shepherd, Curtis George, Becky, Logan, and Maddie (Jack) Hatfield, Chance, Keaton (Caroline), Autumn (Noah) and Jaedyn Casares, Katie, J.T., Sophia, Joshua and Mary Ashfield, Mackenzie, Grayson, Wyatt, and Lucas Hatfield. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren: E.J., and Kaylee Hensel, Xeriah Tindle, Kinsley Lindstrom-Casares, Zayden and Melanie Binns; her siblings: Jean (Leonard) Simpson, Clarence (Carrie) Toler, Frances Toler, Ott Jr. (Mary) Toler, Kathy Bolden, and Robin Toler. She also leaves behind many dear relatives and friends. Private family services to be held on a later date to celebrate the life of a soul so generously loved. Following Patricia’s wishes, family and friends will gather at a separate memorial (date to be determined), where she will return home to West Virginia for final rest and peace.
