Donna K. Shepherd, 64, of Odell, Illinois passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 6:59 p.m. at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Illinois at a later date. Duffy – Baier – Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Donna was born November 2, 1957 in Pontiac, Illinois, to Dale and Linda (Moser) Welch. Linda survives in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She married Michael “Pat” Shepherd on April 20, 1974. He survives in Odell. Also surviving are her son, Barry (Jocelyn Ross) Shepherd of Flanagan,  Illinois; brothers: Dale Welch, Jr. of Mexico and Danny (Joy) Welch of Lake Charles, Louisiana; twin sister, Diane (Donald) Butcher of Odell, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale. Donna was a graduate of Odell High School. She worked in the laundry department at Evenglow Lodge for over 30 years. Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her great-nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
