DWIGHT – Ida R. Haacke, 89, of Dwight, Illinois passed away at 5:43 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Heritage Healthcare and Rehab in Dwight, Illinois. Funeral services were private for the family. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, Illinois on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Graveside services in Goodfarm Cemetery, rural Dwight, followed the services. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons, Anthony Haacke, Scott Haacke, Eric Haacke, Lucas Tousignant, Alex Haacke, Austin Haacke, and Mitchell Tousignant. Hager Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials in Ida’s name may be left to the United Methodist Church of Dwight or a charity of the donor’s choice. Ida was born January 10, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of George and Ora (Hansen) Stutsman. She married Donald R. Haacke on May 27, 1950 in the Zion Evangelical Church, Dwight. Sadly, he passed away November 8, 2015. She is survived by her children:  Richard (Marylou Weyrich) Haacke of St. Louis, Missouri; Ronald (Carla) Haacke of Clintonville, Wisconsin; Linda Tousignant, Randall Haacke, and Roger (Renee) Haacke, all of Dwight. Thirteen grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren also survive. Ida and Don made their home in Dwight on a Scully farm in 1951. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dwight and a member of the United Methodist Women. She graduated from Newark High School in 1949 and was a cashier at Clapp’s Supermarket for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
