The Dwight Township High School Drama Club will put on its first show of the 2021-2022 school year this weekend on Nov. 5 and 6 at 7:00 p.m. It will also be the debut of new drama club director Abigayle Groves.

The play “The Imaginary Invalid” is a comedy about a hypochondriac father, Argan, who wants his daughter to marry a doctor to save money on his medical bills. However, the daughter is in love with a musician. Meanwhile, Argan’s second wife only married him for his money. The three-act comedy will be about who will inherit Argan’s money.

The play will be at Dwight Township High School auditorium. Admission for the play will be $7 for adults and $5 for kids, seniors and students.
