Anna Mae Leach, 97, of Mazon passed away August 9, 2021 at Heritage Woods Nursing Home in Dwight. Born June 18, 1924 in Coal City, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Fannie (Small) Reuter. Anna Mae graduated from Mazon High School with the class of 1942. She married Earl (Cootie) Leach in 1942 and they lived most of their lives in Mazon. Anna Mae is survived by her son, Curt Leach, and daughter, Brenda Noonan of Mazon; grandchildren: Anna Noonan – McBee, Jarin Noon-an, Tammy Leach, Andrea Leach and Candice El Mek-kaoui; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grand- children; brother, Bill (Shirley) Reuter; sister, Helen Barra; and several nieces, nephews, and good friends. Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Earl (Cootie); her parents, Paul and Fannie; son, Merle Leach; daughter-in-law, Julie Leach; sisters:  Evelyn (Johnnie) Stevenson and Ruth Reuter; and brother, John Reuter.
