Patrick Michael Walsen, age 38, of Pontiac, IL and formerly of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Patrick was the beloved son of Michael Walsen and Janice Walsen, nee Holland; dear brother of Daniel Walsen and Megan Walsen; nephew of Michael (Mary) Holland, John Holland, Mark (Anne) Holland, Jim (Marcia) Holland, Timothy Walsen and Bonita (the late Gene) Duckmanton; cousin of Amy (Emile) Harley, Brian (Amanda) Holland, and Janine Price; and Godson of Pamela Reith and Michael Holland. Patrick was predeceased by his grandparents, James Patrick (Margaret, nee Finerty) Holland and Miles (Elinore, nee King) Walsen. Visitation was held Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield, IL 60513. Patrick Lied in State Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to the time of the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Louise de Marillac Church, corner of 30th and Raymond Ave., La Grange Park. Interment: Private. Patrick was a teacher in the Middle School of Saunemin Community School District #438.
