Stephen Rex Wotton, 71, of Gibsonton, Florida passed away at 6 a.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Hospice House, Sun City, Florida. Sun City Center Funeral Home is in charge of arrange-ments. He had been a resident of Dwight, IL prior to residing in Florida. Survivors include: one son, Stephen Wotton of Lochbuie, CO; one daughter, Michelle Farris of Emington, IL; two sisters: Louella Merideth and Betty Wotton, of Chatsworth, IL; one brother, Robert Wotton of Pontiac, IL; and four grandchildren. He was born June 19, 1949 in Westerville, Ohio, the son of Stephen Glen Wotton and Violet May Fegley. His parents preceded him in death. Stephen loved to hunt and fish. Prior to retirement in Florida, he did construction and was self-employed. Burial at a later date will be in Camp Cemetery, Esmen Township, Livingston County, IL. Stephen was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam, 1969 and 1970, earning several medals during his time of service.
