He was a former member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville. John loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He always said he did his best praying in the deer stand. He also enjoyed making the best salsa from his vegetable garden. He was skilled in carpentry and was proud to share his knowledge in the trade, whether it was building his daughter’s house, volunteering building homes for Habitat for Humanity, or helping those he loved. He shared his love of NASCAR by renovating an old school bus so we could spend time at the track together. He was an amazing father and papa to his grandson JJ and truly enjoyed taking him on rides on his skid-steer. Spending time with his family was most important, the knowledge and love he had shown them will forever shine for years to come. Su r v i v i n g are his wife of 34 years, Anne E.
