Helen L. Mund, 84, of Odell passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1:15 a.m. at Accolade Health Care in Pontiac. A graveside service was held Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac, with Pastor Patricia Morton officiating. Duffy – Baier – Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Helen was born May 28, 1936 in Odell to Albert and Anna Louise (Lambert) Mund. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Faith Mund of Pontiac, IL; nephews and nieces:  Pam Dronenberg of Odell, IL, Steven (Anne) Mund of Odell, IL, Michelle (Dale) Hoerner of Bloomington, IL, and Brian (Melissa) Mund of Oro Valley. AZ; and many great- and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Clarence Mund, William Mund, and Junior Mund. Helen attended Mund School in rural Odell and graduated from Odell High School. She retired in 1998 after 36 years at RR Donnelley in Pontiac, IL. Helen was raised with the Congregational Faith and attended United Church of Odell. She loved traveling to Branson, Missouri and listening to country music. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and greatly enjoyed watching all types of sports. Memorials may be made to the Odell Food Pantry or the American Cancer Society.
