Mark C. Mau, 57, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Cabery, IL. A visitation was held Monday, October 12, 2020 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Cullom, IL. Due to Covid-19, masks were required. Burial followed the visitation in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Cabery, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Mark was born June 27, 1963 in Kankakee, IL, a son of Everett H. and Catherine (Beatty) Mau. Surviving children: Ashley Mau, Christopher Mau, Nikki Mau-Gualandi and Cheyenne Mau; brothers: Elton (Spring) Mau of Arrowsmith, IL; Paul (Carol) Mau of Cabery, IL; sisters: Patsy (Pat) Delheimer of Cornell, IL and Valerie (Marc) Hoenig of Salt Lake City, Utah; and 11 grandchildren. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. Mark graduated from Tri-Point schools and went on to become a farmer. He enjoyed tinkering when he could, listening to classic rock music, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
