Cody R. Miles, 23, of Dwight, IL passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials in honor of Cody may be made to the family. Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL is in charge of arrangements.Cody was born in Joliet, Illinois on August 24, 1997. He is survived by his parents: Crystal Mae (Raymond Wren) Vaughn, Stewart Sr. and Tiffany Miles; brothers: Seth Miles of Streator; Gabriel Pennington of Streator; Aiden Miles of Streator; sisters: Lexi Miles of Streator; Dezarai Miles of Streator; Elizabeth Pennington of Streator; and Jasmine Miles of Streator. Also surviving: maternal grandfather, Stanley Light; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Miles; special nephews: Ty Mitchell of Cabery and Kai Cass of Streator; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stewart Charles Miles, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Robert Miles; and maternal grandmother, Edith Light.

Cody worked in landscaping for Grasshopper in Joliet, IL and enjoyed tattoos, fishing, 4-wheeling, and motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
