DWIGHT – William L. Dolan, 73, of Yorkville, IL and formerly of Dwight, IL, died Friday, July 10, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight, IL with Pastor Victor Randle officiating. Private family burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorials in William’s name may be made to Seasons Hospice or American Heart Association. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight, IL. William was born on June 5, 1947 in Morris, IL, a son of Leroy and Katherine (Miller) Dolan. He is survived by three children: Laura (Peter) Rossi of Mountain View, CA; Victoria Dolan of Dwight, IL; and Daniel Dolan of Kankakee, IL; four grandchildren: Katelyn Dolan, Danielle Dolan, Jared Dolan and Isabella Rossi; one great-granddaughter, Zoey Kate Hossler; one sister, Joyce (Donald) Hutchings of Morris, IL; and one brother, Mike (Laima) Dolan of Utica, IL. William was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Dolan. He was educated in Mazon schools and was a retired Security Supervisor at Hollywood Casino in Joliet, IL. He was also a retired part-time police officer for the Dwight Police Department. William proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970.
