DWIGHT – Judy Karan Handren, age 67, of Dwight, IL passed away peacefully Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Regency Care of Morris. Born June 27, 1952 in Selma, AL to the late Thomas Franklin and Thelma (nee Tench) Anderson, Sr. Judy previously worked as a teacher at the Fox Developmental Center in Dwight. She retired from the Dwight Women’s Correctional Center. Surviving are her beloved husband, William Handren of Dwight; loving daughter, Letitia “Tish” (Robert Storm) Handren of Dwight; cherished granddaughter, Amelia Storm; two step-grandchildren: Sarah (Anthony Scheel) Storm and Heather (Andy Stecher) Storm; one step-great-grandson, Declan Stecher-Storm; sister, Thalia Koehler of Braidwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceding her in death were two brothers, William, in infancy, and Thomas F. Anderson, Jr. Cremation rites have been accorded. R.W.
