PONTIAC – Jackie D. Gregory Sr., 75, of Pontiac passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Pontiac.
Jackie was born August 19, 1940, son of Marvin and Sidney Brooks Gregory in Dixon Springs, Tennessee.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Patricia Kinkade; children: Dawn (Joe) Boitnott of Pontiac; Regina Claypool, Jack Gregory Jr. (Sheila Doran), and Karl (Jean) Kinkade, all of Dwight; and Brigette (Ron) Folkers of Odell.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Kelly Vos of Berwyn; Jessica (Tyler) Mills of Pontiac; Chelsea Boitnott of Bloomington; Tim Legner, Michael Pokarney, and Heather (Brandon Campbell) Flanders, all of Dwight; and Bonnie Flanders of Odell.
Three great-grandchildren also survive: Aiden Legner, Raelynn Cuppett and Nolan Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, C.M., Billy; his sister, JoNelle; and Pat’s son, Mark Kinkade.
Jackie enjoyed the Cubs, Cadillacs and Cracker Barrel. He retired from RR Donnelley in Dwight.
A private family graveside service was held Tuesday, April 26, in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hillyer officiating.
Visitation was from 4 until 6 p.m., Monday, at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight.
Memorials in honor of Jackie may be made to the Community Cancer Center of Bloomington or to Good Samaritan Home, Pontiac.
