Sue E. Conrad, 65, of Chatsworth, Illinois died May 17, 2022 at 10:21 a.m. at her residence with her family by her side.
Her Funeral Mass was at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Saints Peter &  Paul Catholic Church, Chatsworth.
Father William Keebler officiated.
Burial followed in Strawn Cemetery in Strawn.
Visitation was from 9:30 a.m., Saturday, until the time of the Mass in the church.
Calvert & Martin Funeral Home in Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.
Sue was born February 26, 1957 in Fairbury to Glenn and Maxine (Somers) Knauer.
She married the love of her life, Michael Conrad, in Forrest July 15, 2017, after dating since 1999. He survives in Chatsworth.
Also surviving are her children:  Calvin (Stephanie) Coleman of Dwight and Holly (Derek) Schumm of Pontiac; special daughter, Monica (Rich) Nolte; brothers: Phil (Wanda) Knauer, Steve (Marcia) Knauer, Rick (Bobbie) Knauer, and Greg (Nancy) Knauer; sister, Glennda (Eric) Bosch; sisters-in-law: Tarry Knauer and Kathy Knauer; special “Seester,”  Jody (Perring) Scharf; grandchildren: Damien Oliver Coleman, Ethan Schumm, and Brianna Schumm.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Harvey Rieger; brothers, Neil Knauer and Garry Knauer; sister, Kathryn Knauer; and special daughters, Jennifer Perring and Taylor (Perring) Bates.
She graduated from Forrest-Strawn-Wing, Class of 1975, and was employed for many years by Homeshield in Chatsworth.
Sue enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and relaxing with family and friends. She was very passionate about the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. She also greatly enjoyed watching the Cubs with her grandson, Damien.
The family requested that all attending the visitation and funeral wear their favorite Chicago Cubs memorabilia.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, 6574 N. State Rd. 7, Box 201, Coconut Creek, Florida 33073 or to the family.
