DWIGHT – Randall “Randy” Haacke, 65, of Dwight, Illinois passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at Heritage Woods in Dwight, Illinois. Funeral services will be private for the family. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, Illinois on Friday, May 27, 2022. Graveside services will be at a later date. Memorials in Randy’s name may be left to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice. Randy was born April 19, 1957 in Morris, Illinois, a son of Donald and Ida (Stutsman) Haacke. He married Laura Best in the Dwight United Methodist Church on May 28, 1977. He is survived by his children: Chrystle Haacke of Dwight and Eric Haacke of Dwight; siblings: Richard (Marylou Weyrich) Haacke of St. Louis, Missouri; Ronald (Carla) Haacke of Clintonville, Wisconsin; Linda Tousignant of Dwight; and Roger (Renee) Haacke of Dwight; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Randy was raised in the Dwight area and graduated from Dwight High School in 1975. He then attended Joliet Junior College, where he earned an Associate Degree in Agriculture in 1977. He worked over the years for RR Donnelley and Interlake. Being raised on the family farm, Randy had a passion for dairy farming and even became vice president of the local FFA. He enjoyed playing cards and games on the weekends.
