DWIGHT – Juanita “Joni” McStoots, 84, of Dwight, Illinois passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021 at Round Grove Cemetery. Memorials in Juanita’s name may be made to the family. Juanita was born November 13, 1936 in Pontiac, Illinois, a daughter of Phillip and Fern (Gerrish) Ricolo. She married Vernon Gassman and Paul McStoots, both preceding her in death. She is survived by her children: Debbie (David) Marxmiller of Urbana, Illinois and Douglas Gassman of Odell, Illinois; grandchildren: Lindsey (Jake) Buchanan, Cody (Brianna) Marxmiller, and Doug (Shay) Gassman Jr.; great-grandchildren, Maddix and Easton Buchanan; Skiy, Kali, KD, and Rhyder Marxmiller; and Keegan and Kellen Gassman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Ricolo; and sister, Norma Nelson. She attended the First Congregational Church of Christ.
