It is with great remorse that we announce the passing of David A. Adams. David was 74 years of age and passed away after battling illness for many years. David worked for the Village of Dwight for 25 years before retiring and moving to Pontiac, IL. He loved many things in life, but his favorites were bowling, fishing, and the Cubs. David leaves behind a wife, Ida; a son, Eddie; a brother, Terry (Lorene); and a sister, Marianne Decker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marion Adams; and four brothers:  Mike, Charles, Jim and Thomas. His service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, June 18, at Hager Funeral Home in Dwight. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
