Patricia M. Havel

DWIGHT – Patricia M. Havel, 78, of Dwight and formerly of Wheaton, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 in Morris.

According to Patricia’s wishes cremation rites were accorded.

Patricia was born December 17, 1940 in Chicago, a daughter of Robert Warren and Marie Burtscher Richardson. She married Charles W. Havel Jr. October 10, 1964 in Wheaton. He passed away December 5, 2016.

Surviving are daughters: Ann-Marie Hundley of Verona; Lisa Marie Havel of Commercial Point, Ohio; son, Peter (Audi) Havel of Minooka; brother, Robert (Patricia) Richardson of St. Charles; sister, Janet (Daniel) Crommett of Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She helped Charles as they owned and operated a service station in Villa Park for many years. She was a member of the United States Power Squadron. She enjoyed boating, spending time with her family, and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s events.

She will be dearly missed by all those she leaves behind.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Dwight, by Father David Richardson.

Burial followed in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Dwight.

Memorials in her name may be left to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
