REDDICK – Dana Lynn Forneris, 40, of Reddick passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 18, 2016 at her home.
Born March 23, 1976 in Kankakee, Dana was a graduate of Herscher High School, Class of 1994. She was currently employed as a flight attendant for United Airlines (Continental), and worked at Newark Airport and currently O’Hare Airport.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales, refurbishing furniture, and crafts. She was very generous and was a great aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She was so kind to everyone she met. She was loved by so many, and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Surviving are her parents, Richard and Beverly Mathison Forneris of Reddick; sister, Lori (Mark) Schahrer, and their children, Jack and Tony, of Fairbury; brother, Brian (Lesley) Forneris, and their children Alex, Dominic and Donovan, of Amhurst, Ohio; grandmother, Emily Lavicka of Reddick; and best friend, Beth, and her children, Clay and Daven.
Also surviving are uncles, Wayne (Glenda) Forneris of Buckingham; Joseph (Janet) Forneris of Herscher; and Keith (Barb) Mathison of Campus; aunts, Darlene (Jim) Steichen of Campus and Diane (Rod) Bryant of Essex; and several cousins.
Preceding her in death were Marion Mathison, Secondo and Angelene Forneris, James Forneris, Donna and John Denker, and Larry Lavicka.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, August 23, at 11 a.m., at R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel.
Inurnment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Campus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be directed to the donor’s choice.
