Last Spring Break

This is it. There’s been a lot of those this year. The last time I will do a lot of things. It’s kind of sad, but it’s also exciting, knowing that this is the last chance to do something, one more shot. I’ve never gone anywhere for spring break, at least anywhere out of the norm. I’ve spent all of them in Dwight, Illinois. I don’t think this is a bad thing, it’s just kind of how it happened. I don’t know how much I would enjoy being somewhere with thousands of other college students at once, but it would be nice to do something. With all that being said I have nothing planned, makes sense I guess. Maybe this is the year I just drive to North Carolina with a lawn chair and just sit on a beach for days on end, that doesn’t sound too bad. I was really hoping to attend SXSW (South By South West) a week-long music festival in Austin, Texas, since this is the first year that I would’ve been 21 and a lot of the events require you to be 21 years of age to attend. The one year I could attend and it’s the week after our spring break. That’s another thing, with the spring break being so early, it’s really hit or miss if the place that you want to go is even going to be warm. Although the odds of that happening go way up if you leave the state of Illinois and head any direction south. If I went somewhere I’d like it to be low-cost, although is anything low-cost in 2016? Not really. If anyone has any ideas, or if there’s a location that would be relaxing as possible for a few days, please feel free to send them my way, because I’m all ears. If not, it seems that my last spring break (unless I become a teacher at some point in life) could end up where my first three took place. Dwight is pretty relaxing, too, but I’m really looking for where relaxing meets warm. Who knows where I’ll end up…
